At Tokyo Hirogari Japanese Language School, we hold various events not only for the study of Japanese language, but also for the direct experience of Japanese culture and customs and to learn about Japan. Today（July 7th）is Tanabata.
We decorate a bamboo with the wishes of our students written on tanzaku at school.

We listened a story about Tanabata and made kaleidoscopes and paper cup toys. We wrote the wishes of Tanabata on a strip of paper and decorated it with bamboo grass. We were able to experience Japanese culture.
May 28, 2022 Walking around Kamakura-Enoshima
Walking around Kamakura-Enoshima was held on Saturday May 28th.
We walked around Kamakura and Enoshima together, learning about Japanese culture with the guidance of Japanese teachers.
April 23, 2022 Bamboo shoot digging
We searched for bamboo shoots in the fresh green bamboo and used grove and shovel to get a lot of bamboo shoots.
Through this experience, we were able to interact with local people and other foreigners by Japanese, and experience Japanese culture with Japanese people.

We had a meal together while viewing the cherry blossoms in Serigaya park and ate lots of national cuisine.
