Absence and Makeup Policy
Absence from (cancellation of) lessons due to personal reasons
If you will be absent from (cancel) cancel a lesson for personal reasons, please notify us by 5:00 p.m. one business day prior to the lesson at the school’s reception desk or by phone to ensure that the cancellation will be processed.

If you have no choice but to cancel a lesson by e-mail, please do so at least three business days in advance. After confirmation, we will send you an e-mail to confirm the receipt of your cancellation. Once you have replied to the confirmation e-mail, the cancellation procedure will be completed.
If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail from the school, there is a possibility that the school did not receive your e-mail. In that case, please be sure to contact us by phone.

STEP 1 | Student | Student sends notice of absence (cancellation) to the school Ex.: “I will be absent from the lesson on the XXth due to health problems.” |
STEP 2 | School | School sends confirmation e-mail to the student Ex.: “We have received your notification of absence (cancellation) e-mail.” |
STEP 3 | Student | Student replies to school’s confirmation e-mail Ex.: “Please complete the procedure for my absence (cancellation).” |
STEP 4 | School | School completes procedure Ex.: “Your notification of absence (cancellation) has been accepted.” |
Once we receive a notification of absence (cancellation), we will schedule a makeup lesson.
If a student sends a notification of absence (cancellation) of a lesson after 5:00 p.m. one business day before the lesson, there will be no makeup lesson or refund of any tuition fees.
Validity period of makeup lessons
Makeup lessons must be completed within 30 days of the missed (cancelled) lesson. The lesson cannot be made up after 30 days have passed.
